La Liga Daily – Juventus eye Villarreal trio as well as Barcelona’s Bojan

According to reports in the Italian media Juventus are thought to be casting their eyes towards Spain, and particularly Villarreal, as they look to strengthen their squad for the 2011/12 season. Players under the microscope include striker Giuseppe Rossi, defensive midfielder Bruno Soriano and young Argentinian central defender Mateo Musacchio.

Top of the list is Rossi, American-born of Italian parents, who has formed a lethal partnership with Brazilian Nilmar this season and has previously expressed a desire to play in Italy. Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper claims Juve are also chasing 26-year-old Bruno, who made his international debut for Spain in last August´s friendly with Mexico, and 20-year-old Musacchio, a product of River Plate´s youth system snapped up by the Yellow Submarine in August, 2009. Barcelona striker Bojan is another player on the Italians´ radar as they look to give their squad a complete summer overhaul after a disappointing season.
