Manchester City’s talisman Carlos Tevez is a target for former club Corinthians according to his agent Kia Joorabchian.
Joorabchian is no stranger to controversy and this recent revelation is sure to incense the blue half of Manchester. Tevez still has three-and-a-half years left to run on his current contract but Joorabchain believes a potential deal is still possible.
“Carlos would be happy to return to Brazil and play for Corinthians. I want to help Corinthians in their sporting quest. I would like the deal to be done swiftly but in reality it will probably take a couple of years.”
Given may require surgery.
Republic of Ireland international Shay Given looks set to have played his last game for Manchester City after it was revealed that his current injury might require surgery.
Given has only featured in four games for City this season and this recent setback all but ends any remaining hope of leaving the club on loan. After the win over Notts County Mancini revealed that “he will go to the doctor in London to see if he needs surgery.”
