Arsenal full-back Gael Clichy has refused to commit his future to the London club, according to The
Clichy, 25, has a contract until next Summer, however when asked about his chances of extending that, the Frenchman told how he had not made a decision yet: “Will I prolong my contract? I don’t know and I don’t think about it. The season is still long. I will have time to think about it in the summer.”
Clichy has made 26 league appearances this season for Arsenal, and is set to start tonight in the Champions League last 16 tie with Barcelona.
It has been reported recently that Arsenal may allow the left-back to move on, with the Daily Mail suggesting that Celtic’s Emilio Izaguirre could be drafted in as a replacement.
