The chances of on-loan Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani making a return to Anfield at the end of his spell at Juventus are “remote”, according to the player’s agent.
Franco Zavaglia claims that the Juventus leadership are very keen to keep hold of the Italy international, and that an agreed deal for the player still exists between the two clubs, despite the Turin side trying to lower the eventual cost.

“Everything that has been said recently about Aquilani is just assumptions. Liverpool will not discount the player and he will only be sold on the predetermined basis… Let’s say his transfer to Juventus is well defined.
“In the moment in which it was made, the terms and value of the operation were well defined. Now Juve know the modality and it is normal that the clubs will speak before June 30.
“If Juve can save money, seeing that time is running out, then they will try, but otherwise I don’t know what the decision of the club will be.
On the possibility of a return to Liverpool, he said: “I think it’s very difficult, this is a very remote chance.”
