Hargreaves unlikely to play for Man Utd again

Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves could have played his last game for the club, after it was revealed that the player was unlikely to play again before the end of the season.

Hargreaves’ contract expires in the Summer, and the former Bayern Munich man has only managed ten minutes on the pitch this season due to injury problems.

Talking to the Associated Press, Manager Sir Alex Ferguson said: “His contract is up at the end of the season but I don’t know what is going to happen. Chief executive) David Gill had a discussion with the boy last week. But no more than that. We have to make a decision.

“It has just brought his season to an end. He has just carried bad luck all the time he has been here. I am pretty sure he won’t be playing this season.”
