King boost for Tottenham

Tottenham skipper Ledley King is set for a return to the first-team next weekend against Chelsea, after struggling with a groin problem for large parts of the season.

King, 30, has not played for Spurs since going off injured in Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Fulham, mid-way through October, and his return could be a timely boost as his side fight for the lucrative last Champions League place.

Talking to The Sun, King told how “It’s going OK and, hopefully, I’ll be back next week.” Tottenham will hope King will be able to play in some of the toughest remaining games, including against Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.
