Spurs line-up Chile defender

Tottenham are lining-up a move for Chile U21 right-back Bryan Carrasco, according to a report on talkSPORT.

Spurs are known to be in the market for a full-back after Vedran Corluka’s form has slipped this season, and a training-ground argument with manager Harry Redknapp has meant that Alan Hutton is likely to be shown the exit in the Summer.

Carrasco, who plays for Audax Italiano in Chile, can play either at right-back or right-wing, and the 20-year-old has represented Chile at U21 level eight times, and it seems only a matter of time until the player makes a move to Europe.

According to reports, the player would only set Tottenham back £1.5m.
