The agent of highly-rated Ivory Coast winger Gervinho has said that the player will sit down for contract talks with current club Lille at the end of the season.
Gervinho has been strongly linked with clubs from all over Europe, and with Arsenal and Liverpool in England, yet the player seems yet to have made a decision, instead waiting to see whether Lille will be playing Champions League football next year.
Pascal Boisseau, the players’ agent, told Sport.co.uk: “The situation currently stands that Gervinho has one-year left on his current deal with Lille. For the moment he wants to finish the season, concentrate on winning the league with Lille and at the end of the season speak with Lille about extending his contract. We will know more after that meeting.”
The extravagant wing-man has scored 14 league goals this season, in 29 starts.
