Blackburn Rovers will remain the cheapest place to watch Premier League football after the club announced their season ticket prices for the 2011/2012 campaign.
Adults will be able to enjoy all 19 games for just £225 in the Blackburn End and Riverside stands – a cost of under £12 per game. Meanwhile, junior season tickets are available at £85 – which works out to less than £4.50 a match.
The Lancashire club are also introducing a family season ticket, which will give family groups 10% off their season ticket price in the Blackburn End.
Despite a slight increase from last season, supporters are delighted with the pricing structure and have praised new owners Venky’s for keeping the cost affordable.
Rovers’ managing director Tom Finn said: “Our season ticket prices represent incredible value in comparison not only to our top-flight rivals, but within football as a whole.
“In trying times financially for fans, we felt that it was hugely important to show continuity in our pricing structure, as well as to reward the supporters for their superb backing again this season.”
