England U21 manager Stuart Pearce has named his 40-man provisonal squad for the UEFA European U21 Championship this summer in Denmark.
The squad has various high-profile, established Premier League players including Newcastle United striker Andy Carroll, Sunderland’s Danny Wellbeck, Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs, in-form Bolton striker Daniel Sturridge, Manchester United’s Chris Smalling and Everton’s Jack Rodwell.
