Porto star-striker Hulk has opened the door to a possible move to the Premier League, putting a host of top English clubs on alert, with Tottenham most keen on making a bid.
The Brazilian striker, who has scored an excellent 23 times in 26 league appearances this season, was a target for Spurs also in January, and has now revealed his intention to leave Portugal.
Talking to talkSPORT, Hulk said: “The Premier League is one of the biggest tournaments in the world and I want to play where people fight for titles and where there is an ambitious plan for the future.
“I like the Premier League, the Bundesliga, and Serie A, so I can not choose a particular championship, but my choice will be based around the club rather than the league.”
Tottenham are known to be on the lookout for at least one top-quality striker, after failed attempts in January to sign Fernando Llorente (Athletic Bilbao), Guiseppe Rossi (Villareal), and Diego Forlan (Athletico Madrid). Liverpool are also thought to be interested in bringing the player to England.
