Everton defender Phil Jagielka wants his side to continue their good run of form with a win over Manchester City on Saturday.
The Toffees have only lost one of their last eight games, against Manchester United, picking-up four wins, and the England international feels Everton have every chance of continuing their good form at Goodison Park.
Talking to the Liverpool Daily Post, Jagielka said: “City have got Champions League football on their minds and we want to stay in seventh at the very least,” said Jagielka.
“There are points to play for. We’ve had a decent run against them, especially away, so it’ll be interesting to see how we get on at home… We’ve three more games and hopefully in our next home game we can perform better and see what happens.”
