Man City back in for Kaka in player plus cash deal

Manchester City are set to make a cash-plus-player bid for Real Madrid star Kaka, according to the Daily Mail.

City had made a high-profile attempt to sign the Brazil international in the January 2009, prior to his Summer move to Real Madrid for 68m Euros.

At the time, the player chose to stay at Milan until the end of the season, but now, with the players’ inability to command a regular first-team spot, City are set to make another attempt to bring him to the Premier League, and he is expected to be more keen on the possibility, as he looks to regain form after a series of injuries.

The newspaper reports that a bid of £22.5m, plus wantaway striker Emmanuel Adebayor, could be enough to convince Real to part with the former Milan man.
