Tottenham could be prepared to lose highly-rated Brazilian midfielder Sandro to AC Milan, if the Italian side include former Arsenal man Mathieu Flamini as part of the deal, according to sources at the Gazzetta
Sandro impressed on his first major test for Spurs, coming into the side at the San Siro in Tottenham’s 1-0 away win against Milan in the Champions League, and has kept his place ever since.

That performance, as well as those that followed, have already attracted the interest of Serie A’s top clubs, but Milan are thought to be particularly keen, as they look to replace the possibly outgoing Andrea Pirlo, Rino Gattuso, and Massimo Ambrosini.
Although Spurs are thought to not want to consider a money-only deal, they may reconsider if Flamini, 27, is included in the deal, meaning a new midfielder of sufficient quality would not need to be found. Additionally, Tottenham may consider that previous incumbent of the defensive-midfield spot, Tom Huddlestone, can return to the first-team, and Flamini would offer a more attacking option in centre-midfield.
