After a series of high profile blunders speculation is mounting with regards to Heurelho Gomes’ future at Tottenham. It has emerged that PSV, Gomes’ former club have expressed an interest in securing his services for next season.
The PSV technical director Marcel Brands told Voetbal International: “He has let me know he is interested in a return to PSV. I have let him know I will look what we can do for each other. There is not much more at the moment.”
The Brazilian keeper currently has one year remaining on his contract and it is believed he would be prepared to take a pay cut if he left the Premier League.

Cudicini signs new deal.
Spurs have confirmed that Carlo Cudicini has signed a one year contract extension. He has been at the club since 2009 and the new deal will keep him at the club until 2012.
A statement on Tottenham’s official website said: “The club is delighted to announce that Carlo Cudicini has signed a one year contract extension which runs out in 2012.”
Cudicini was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident and missed eight months due to injury. He played 13 times in this campaign.
Pav: We can win Europa.
With Spurs set to play in the Europa League next season their striker Roman Pavlyuchenko believes they should target winning the trophy.
He told the Sport Express: “Our club is quite able to win the Europa Cup next season. We have a very good team, and we could still have reinforcements. As for the fifth place, we took a step back compared to last year, without getting into the Champions League, but it’s still better than sixth.”
Pavlyuchenko scored 10 goals for Spurs this season and will be looking for a more regular place next season.
