Despite signing a five year deal last year Ranger is not believed to be in manager Alan Pardew’s plans for next season.

It is thought Newcastle want at least £1 million for the former Southampton youth player, who has been linked with Bolton and QPR. There are question marks over Ranger’s attitude with the player recently causing controversy by being pictured holding a gun in a national newspaper.
