Club Focus – Manchester City – All quiet on the Eastlands front before expected flurry of activity

Surprisingly, given the amount of players expected to be going in and out of the club this summer, there has been a distinct lack of activity around Eastlands of late, suggesting a flurry of transfer business could be just around the corner.

The saga of Carlos Tevez waiting tell the club if he will be staying next season is still dragging on and currently looks no nearer resolving itself, but on a positive note the longer the skipper dithers then it looks increasingly likely he will remain a Manchester City player, at least for one more season. A lack of serious offers for his services from any of the big European clubs also indicates not many are willing to consider investing a huge amount of money on a player known to be homesick and hankering after a move back to his native Argentina.
