Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told Man City would have to break the bank to secure his services, Mirror Football report.
According to a source close to the forward, someone connected to Sheikh’s Mansour family has been in contact and discussed a mind-blowing package to tempt him back to the north of England.
He reportedly supplied them with a list of demands he requires if he is to move; including the no.07 shirt, the captain’s armband and a guarantee he will always be the club’s highest paid player.
A source close to the ex-Man Utd star said: “Cristiano says there has been contact between him and a third party. He says that he is extremely flattered at the lengths they’re willing to go to.”

City in Aurier link.
Lens’ Serge Aurier has confirmed he is in talks over a possible move to England, according to Sky Sports.
Blackburn Rovers were originally linked with the highly-rated Frenchman but it is now believed Man City will offer them competition for his signature.
The full-back is under contract with Lens until 2015 but after his side got relegated he is looking to move on, he told La Voix De Nord: “It is true, contacts exist and the English league is a place where I would improve in the future.” He continued.
“But we must see what is best for me. I’m meeting the president and if he is satisfied, from an economic perspective, I would go.”
Sanchez deal back on.
Man City have made further enquiries about Alexis Sanchez after Barcelona failed to come up with the cash, Mirror Football report.
After the Blues dropped their interest last month, the European champions made a move for the Chilean star but they did not meet the demands of his club Udinese.
The club have now dropped their demands by £9m after City were unwilling to match the original £35m valuation, but any potential deal hangs on the future of Carlos Tevez.
Of the Argentines future, a City insider told Sunday Mirror Sport: “There has not been an offer of a new contact to him and the feeling at the club is that perhaps Carlos himself is looking for more money from us because no club have registered an interest in buying him.”
