Newcastle have rejected a ‘derisory’ offer from West Ham United for unsettled captain Kevin Nolan, according to Sky
The midfielder has recently turned down a contract extension but still has two years remaining on his current deal. It is believed that the offer from the Hammers was around £2 – £3 million. New West Ham manager Sam Allardyce worked with Nolan previously in his successful spell at Bolton and is keen to be re-united with the 28 year old. But it remains to be seen whether Nolan, who was Newcastle’s top scorer last season, would be willing to drop down a division.
