Bolton’s Coyle rules out move for Barcelona youngster Jeffren

Bolton Wanderers Manager Owen Coyle has ruled out a move for Barcelona attacker Jeffren Suarez.

Coyle had been linked with a €8m move for the Barcelona youth-product, but after indecisive comments made by the young Spaniard recently, the former Burnley boss does not believe the winger is the right player for him.

Speaking to The Bolton News, Coyle said: “I don’t wait and see with anyone. Either you want to play for this football club, or you don’t. I have not talked to Jeffren or his representatives, so the story makes it out that it’s a bit further down the line than it is, but if it isn’t going to happen, then we’ll move on.”

Jeffren made less League appearances than he may have expected last season as he played in just eight La Liga matches, four under than his tally of 12 during the 2009-10 season. The European Under-21 Championship winner is fully expected to move on this summer as the 23-year-old seeks first-team football and has been linked with Valencia and Sevilla.
