Hoops must wait for Musona.

According to The Scotsman, Celtic must wait in line if they want to sign Kaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona.

The 21-year-old Zimbabwe international has been interesting Neil Lennon but will travel to Germany for a trial with Hoffenheim when he obtains a visa on Monday.

Musona has scored 20 goals in 49 starts for the South Africans and manager Bobby Motaung is adamant his player will respect the German invitation.

“We know there is Celtic’s deal coming into play,” said Motaung, “but firstly Musona is not on auction. Secondly, we are not going to play a pick and choose or money game.

“There has been an invitation from Hoffenheim and we are going to follow that process through and exhaust it before considering any other offer. We will respond accordingly to Celtic and acknowledge their interest, but Musona is not on auction.”

Bellamy option still on.

Neil Lennon has refused to rule out a move for Manchester City´s Craig Bellamy, says the Scottish Herald.

The Celtic manager accepts there would be financial difficulties to surmount before any deal could be done but may consider paying the £4m transfer fee City are demanding and asking Bellamy, who is on £90,000-a-week at Eastlands, to accept lower wages.

Lennon could also tempt the Welshman by allowing him to stay with his family in Cardiff earlier in the week before travelling to Glasgow a few days before games.

The 31-year-old is interesting Everton and Blackburn Rovers and if a deal cannot be agreed elsewhere Celtic will make their move towards the end of the transfer window.

Bellamy has one year left on his contract at Eastlands but manager Roberto Mancini wants him off the payroll.

Celtic´s Official Website has announced a Battle of The Legends charity match to be played on Tuesday, August 9 between Celtic Legends and Manchester United Legends.

Both teams will have a number of former players and celebrity fans taking part and the Hoops have confirmed Henrik Larsson, Chris Sutton, Lubo Moravcik and the current management team of Neil Lennon, Johan Mjallby and Alan Thompson will all turn out.

On the Manchester United side Teddy Sheringham, Dwight Yorke and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have all made themselves available.

Henrik Larsson said: “It will be a tremendous pleasure to return to Celtic Park and play in this charity match in front of the best fans in the world.

“I played for seven incredible years in Glasgow and can’t wait to get back and pull on the green and white Hoops once again.”
