Everton plan Arsenal loan move for out-of-favour striker

Everton are looking to take out-of-favour Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner on loan next season, according to a report by Sky Sports.

The Danish forward has been linked with a permanant move to Blackburn Rovers, as well as to clubs outside the Premier League, and it is thought that Toffees boss David Moyes has targeted the 23-year-old to help solve their goalscoring problems of last season. Everton only have three established attackers at the club, with Jermaine Beckford, Louis Saha, and Victor Anichebe.

Bendtner was disappointed to only make three league starts last season, with 14 appearances as a substitute, scoring two goals, and may be willing to leave the Gunners with the offer of first-team, Premier League football.
