Manchester City are reportedly considering a move for Inter Milan’s Samuel Eto’o that could see Carlos Tevez finally seal a move away from Manchester. These reports come despite manager Roberto Mancini claiming that Tevez is in his plans for next season. According to Sky Sports news Mancini said: “I think that Carlos for the moment is a City player and he is an important player but I don’t know what can happen in the next days.”
If Tevez were to move to Inter Milan they would get an adequate replacement in the shape of Eto’o. The former Barcelona man has made 67 league appearances for Inter scoring 33 goals.

Mancini wants two more signings.
Following the £38m signing of Sergio Aguero, Roberto Mancini has stated that he still believes his squad needs further improvements prior to the new season. According to the Times Live, Mancini said: “If we want to compete with all the other top teams at home and in the Champions League, we will need other players. We are working on this. We need someone in the middle and the right wing.”
The seeming need for players in these positions would add weight to the circulating rumours that City are keeping a close eye on Arsenal’s Samir Nasri who’s contract negotiations have apparently stalled. Nasri had a great season last year and featured both through the middle and on the wings, although Arsenal are desperate to keep hold of him as he enters the final year of his contract.
Celtic Bellamy interest.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has conceded that he retains a strong interest in out of favour striker Craig Bellamy, although a reported £6million price tag could prove to be a stumbling block. According to Goal.com Lennon said: “I hope to catch up with City and see if we can take it from there.” When Mancini was asked if any deal for Bellamy would be possible he said: “Could be. At the moment Craig in Carrington and trains every day, he’s a good player, if it’s interesting to Craig he can speak to them.” Bellamy spent last season on loan with Cardiff City where he scored 11 league goals.
