Real Madrid and Neymar reach contract agreement

Real Madrid and Neymar have reached agreement over the contract the Brazilian will sign as and when los Blancos finally pay the €45m release clause demanded by Santos, with AS reporting the 19-year-old will pen a six-year deal and earn a net €5m-a-year plus 50% of his image rights.

Another aspect to the arrangement is that Neymar will arrive in the Spanish capital with a reported €4.2m in signed image rights under his belt, which run until 2016 – 70% going to the player and 30% to Santos.
