Uruguay Camp Focus: Tactics and team unity to lead La Celeste to history

Uruguay will be doubly intent on claiming a historic 15th Copa America title later on Sunday, as a win over Paraguay in El Monumental will take them above their traditional rivals, Argentina to the top of the all-time rankings in Copa wins. The fact that La Celeste has the opportunity to win on Argentinean soil as in 1987 would make victory even sweeter.

Uruguay are favourites to lift the trophy, but will be wary of a Paraguay side who have reached the final on the back of five draws, including two 0-0 stalemates in the knockout stages, but who will be missing their Coach today, suspended from the touchline. With Uruguay winning only two games outright in the competition to date, the prediction for the game from experts has been to expect a close, hard-fought defensive encounter with few goals and the tactics to take centre stage.
