Manager Lawrie Sanchez acted swiftly to strengthen his defence after the Bees crashed to a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Port Vale at Underhill on Saturday.
The 6ft 5ins defender left Posh earlier this month after a frustrating two years at the club which was severely hampered by a number of changes in management.
The 26-year-old spent time on loan at Rotherham, Shrewsbury and Port Vale last campaign and his growing experience in the Football League’s bottom tier could be vital for Barnet who look to avoid a third successive year where their league future goes down to the final game of the season.
Sanchez told the club’s website that Geohaghon will be involved in the home clash with Gillingham tomorrow.
