Ricky Kaka has reiterated his desire to stay at Real Madrid, in light of coming off the bench on Sunday to score and assist in Los Blancos’ 6-0 demolition of Zaragoza.
The Brazilian has endured a difficult two seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, and has had an otherwise uninterrupted-by-injury pre-season campaign blighted by rumours of a move abroad to either Italy or England.
However, the 29-year-old has followed his goal-scoring cameo from this weekend’s win at La Romareda, that also included an assist for Cristiano Ronaldo, with the declaration that his future lies in Madrid.
Speaking to AS
The Coach said in yesterday’s news conference of how he is counting on me this season, and that gives me peace of mind.
The team shows it is strong. The performance was good in every way. We played well in the Supercopa and have started the League in the best way possible. However, we will still go slowly and focus on doing things the same way every week.”
