Levante are expected to announce the intended signing of Nabil El Zhar after the 24-year-old was released from his contract at Liverpool. El Zhar joined the Reds in 2006 from French side St Etienne but struggled to break into the first team. The French-born Moroccan international scored just once in his 32 appearances at Anfield and spent the last season on loan at Greek side PAOK where he made 12 appearances.
