MK Dons manager Karl Robinson expects that there will be more interest in Sam Baldock before the transfer window closes.
The club accepted a £1.2m bid in June from Peterborough but the deal fell through when the 22-year-old decided against the move on the grounds that ‘it didn’t excite him.’
Robinson is a keen admirer of Baldock’s talents and told BBC
“That’s not pricing him out the ball park because he’s that type of player and he possesses that quality.”
Baldock scored the Dons’ opener in a 4-1 win at Cheltenham in the Carling Cup on Tuesday and will be keen to open his league account for the season when the side travel to Exeter this weekend.
