Man City news – Nasri hits out at Wenger, Boyata nears Bolton, Weiss in Wigan link

Nasri hits out at Wenger.

Samir Nasri hit out at Arsenal and Arsene Wenger as he departed the Emirates to complete his much-protracted move to Man City, Sky Sports report.

The Frenchman’s move has taken up much of the summer’s tabloid space, but upon finally securing the move, he said it was what he always wanted.

“It has been a long negotiation but now I am a City player and that is what I wanted from the start. I was a bit frustrated as I said to the manager that I wanted to leave.

“I stayed for the whole pre-season, but I had wanted to do it with City so I could get to know my team-mates.”

Boyata nears Bolton.

Mirror Football claims Bolton have swayed Dedryck Boyata into making a loan move to the Reebok Stadium.

The young centre back returned from a similar loan deal to Sunderland this summer but he is now seeking the same sort of move – or even a permanent one – in order to get first-team football.

The paper says Boyata met with both Trotters and West Brom officials before deciding on his future, but has since decided to stay in the northwest, hopefully with Bolton.

The Belgian defender could face Liverpool on Saturday teatime as Owen Coyle has injury problems in the heart of his defence.

Weiss in Wigan link.

The Mail Online report Vladimir Weiss has held talks with Wigan after pulling out of a potential move to Dynamo Kiev.

The winger revealed a move to the Ukraine was far from a done deal and expressed this further by attempting to manipulate a move to Wigan.

“Wigan and a Spanish club are immensely interested. My future will be resolved within hours. I want to leave City.”

Essentially, Weiss would be replacement for Charles N’Zogbia who left for Aston Villa earlier in the transfer window.
