Man City news – SWP nears Bolton, Nasri deal imminent, No Napoli move for Balotelli

SWP nears Bolton.

Manchester City Winger Shaun Wright-Philips is seemingly on his way out of the club having begun talks with Bolton the BBC report. The winger, aged 30, has found opportunities at The Etihad Stadium limited with just 10 starts last season. The England international finds himself behind the likes of James Milner, Adam Johnson and David Silva and he obviously feels a move away is his best option.

Trotter’s manager Owen Coyle has expressed his desire to bring the wide-man to The Reebok Stadium but admits the deal is a long way from being concluded. The Scotsman said: “He is someone I would love to bring to the club, whether it is possible, only time will tell. There are financial implications involved.”

Bolton are in need of reinforcements after the injury to South Korean Lee Chung-yong which has ruled him out for nine months. Coyle remained hopeful a deal could be concluded though adding: “But there has been dialogue between our chairman and [City chief executive] Garry Cook. That is where we are at the moment. There is nothing concrete.”
