Roma make a move for Espanyol striker Osvaldo

According to reports in Italy, Roma have made a move for Espanyol striker Pablo Osvaldo with a €17m offer despite the Catalans wanting at least €20m for the Argentine-born Italian Under-21 international.

Roma, currently in Spain where they play Valencia in the Trofeo Naranja on Friday night, have yet to receive a reply from Los Periquitos but are prepared to send a representative to Barcelona to discuss the transfer directly with Espanyol.
