Last night Spurs reached an agreement to sign Emmanuel Adebayor on loan from Manchester City. The Sun have stated that he will undergo a medical today and will sign imminently.
Having been beaten soundly at Old Trafford on Monday, Harry Redknapp told the Press that he was desperate to sign some new players. It is understood that Spurs have agreed to pay a significant percentage of Adebayor’s £170,000 a week salary.
However, he will not be able to play against his parent club on Sunday when Spurs play City at White Hart Lane.

QPR to loan Jenas.
QPR manager Neil Warnock is set to launch a bid to sign Jermaine Jenas on loan from Spurs. The manager finally has some money to spend after the club was taken over by Tony Fernandes last week.
The Sun has suggested that the deal would be an initial loan with a view to a £5 million deal at the end of the season. Jenas has not started a league game for Spurs since April and the club are keen to move some surplus players on before the transfer window closes.
