The Mirror have reported today that Spurs manager Harry Redknapp will move for West Brom forward Peter Odemwingie if Peter Crouch leaves the club.
It is well known that Redknapp is desperately trying to offload players in order to raise funds for new signings. It is understood that Roy Hodgson is trying to convince the striker to sign a new three year deal.
The striker, who scored 15 goals last season is keen to stay at the Hawthorns but may be tempted by a move to a top six club.

LA Galaxy have bid accepted for Keane.
Spurs have accepted a £1.8 million bid for Robbie Keane from LA Galaxy the Daily Mail has reported this morning. The MLS side faced a race against time in order to complete the deal before the end of the transfer window.
Galaxy had to offload former Aston Villa player Juan Pablo Angel in order to add Keane to their list of designation players alongside David Beckham and Landon Donovan. There had been interest in Keane from Blackburn and Leicester but the Irishman has set his heart on a move to the states.
Buck unsure over Modric.
The Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has said that he is unsure whether his club will pursue their interest in Luka Modric after having one bid rejected. He confirmed the club have had one bid rejected by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Speaking to Sky Sports Buck said: “We did make an offer, Daniel Levy has rejected that offer and I don’t know if it will go any further, we will have to see.”
The news will come as a huge relief to everyone associated with Spurs as Modric is an integral part of their squad. Having not qualified for the Champions League this season the competition will be immense this year and they need to hang onto their best players.
