New Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has insisted that his form in front of goal will silence his critics. The former Arsenal striker has notched three goals in his first two games and has already endeared himself to the White Hart Lane faithful.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the 4-0 win over Liverpool he said: “I’m very happy, very delighted. It’s always important to score your first goal at home. I have done it already away. I know the fans already love me because that’s what they are looking for, a player who can score goals.”
