Gareth Bale has hailed new summer signings Emmanuel Adebayor and Scott Parker and believes they have given Spurs a new dimension they didn’t have last season. He feels that the additions should enable the club to finish in the top four this season and qualify for the Champions League.
Speaking to Sky Sports Bale said: “Adebayor is a great character. He gets along with everyone. He has lifted the spirits in the place. He can play on the floor, in the air, and he has scored three goals in two games and that’s exactly what we needed. Scott is a leader. He shows that on the pitch. He is aggressive and plays with his heart on his sleeve.”
