Dalglish defends Liverpool disciplinary record after double dismissal

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish was forced to defend his sides discipline after they ended Sunday’s game with Tottenham with just nine men..

The Reds had Charlie Adam and Martin Sketel sent off for two bookable offences either side of half-time in a 4-0 drubbing at White Hart Lane.

Speaking about the red cards to ESPN Dalglish said: “It’s better to just leave it. We will just stick to [talking about] what we can dictate. It’s best left unsaid because it takes away from a magnificent performance by Tottenham. We have a very good record for discipline,” he added.
