Ahead of Manchester City’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Tuesday, Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko is in a confident mood. Holding no fear for their trip for their trip to the Allianz Arena, Dzeko spoke in a recent interview to Kicker
“They have a home game and are the favourites. However, I do not think Bayern are stronger than us. We travel to Munich to take something.”
Not only stating his belief that his side are stronger than Bayern, he goes on to talk about his lack of regret at turning down Jupp Heynckes outfit in last year’s transfer window.
“No, there was never anything concrete from Bayern. I’m glad how it went. I feel very comfortable in Manchester, playing in the Champions League and the best league in the world.”
