After making an impressive debut for Manchester United’s first team in their 3-0 Carling Cup 3rd Round win over Leeds United, Ezekiel Fryers is keen to prove he is ready to continue making a positive impact in Sir Alex Ferguson’s senior squad, Goal.com
Playing alongside Michael Carrick in centre defence, the performance of Fryers at Elland Road was a major positive for United, with the England U-19 International thrilled with the way his evening went, despite being withdrawn late in the game, suffering from a bout of cramp.
“It was a massive night for me. It was quality and a massive step up, so I was happy to get 80 minutes in. I had to come off with a bit of cramp so now it’s all about working hard with the reserves and getting fitter so that I’m ready for whenever these chances might come again,” said Fryers.
