Liverpool duo set for return against Wolves

Liverpool have been handed some good news ahead of their clash with Wolves this coming weekend, with Fabio Aurelio and Glen Johnson returning to training after difficult starts to the season for the pair.

Aurelio has not figured at all for Liverpool this season, whilst Johnson has only had managed to make one substitute appearance against Stoke City at the start of the month. However it is not clear when either of them will be available for selection.

At a press conference this week, the Liverpool manager commented on the injury situation. “Fabio [Aurelio] is back in training and Glen Johnson started light training. Everybody else is fit which is good for us”. The news is also especially welcome for The Red’s after learning that defender Daniel Agger would be out of first team plans indefinitely with a fractured rib.
