Pavlyuchenko move to Moscow looking likely

Lokomotiv Moscow have opened talks with Spurs over the transfer of Roman Pavlyuchenko according to Talksport. The striker is currently out-of-favour with the arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor from Manchester City in the Summer, and has been continually linked with a move back to Russia in the January transfer window.

However, it is understood that Spurs must find a replacement before the striker would be allowed to leave. Speaking to Russian newspaper Novosti Sport the Lokomotiv president Olga Smorodskaya said: “I can not deny that we have followed him in the past. But the period to sign players is far away and we have not talked business with Tottenham for the player.”
