Redknapp eyes Carling Cup success

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has said that he cannot understand why some sides do not take the Carling Cup seriously and has admitted that he has set his sights on Cup glory this season.

Spurs begin their quest tonight against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium but will make changes from the side that faced Liverpool at the weekend, with Sandro, Tom Carroll and Giovani dos Santos expected to start.

Speaking to Sky Sports he said: “I can’t understand how teams that are in mid-table and not going to get into Europe just don’t go for it. I don’t know why they don’t care about it. I want to go all the way to Wembley in it if I can.”
