Redknapp shocked at Tevez behaviour

Harry Redknapp has maligned Carlos Tevez’s behaviour, saying it is ‘beyond belief’ and said there are no good options now facing the club or manager, the Telegraph report.

The Tottenham manager said the whole debacle had damaged City’s chances of winning the Premier League and also said it would not have happened at Man Utd because there are “too many fantastic professionals who wouldn’t allow that.”

Redknapp continued: “It was unbelievable. I felt sorry for Roberto Mancini to be put in that situation. It wasn’t right for Man City, it wasn’t right for football. I can’t believe it, it shouldn’t happen, it can’t happen. You can’t sack him. If you sack him someone else will come and take him on a free transfer and give him £30 million and get a bargain because he’s worth £45 million.”
