Talksport are reporting that both of Harry Redknapp’s latest signings, Emmanuel Adebayor and Scott Parker will be handed their Tottenham Hotspur debuts when Spurs visit Molineux to take on Wolves today. The Togolese striker has been brought in on a season long loan and will be put straight into the squad after Redknapp has chased a striker all summer in an attempt to bring more goals to the team. Parker was brought in from Championship side West Ham United and is expected to fight off competition for a starting place as Spurs look to record their first win of the league season.

Hamsik Spurs link.
Harry Redknapp is preparing a £25 million bid for Napoli central midfielder Marek Hamsik, as a potential replacement for Luka Modric should the Croatian leave White Hart Lane to join Chelsea in January according to footylatest.com. The 24-year-old is thought to be happy at the Italian club, but with interest from Spurs, Arsenal and AC Milan, he could be tempted away. The Slovakian would command a fee of approximately £25 million, and so this could de-rail any potential bid from Redknapp’s side. Hamsik has scored 43 goals in 114 appearances for Napoli and is considered something of a linchpin for the Champions League side.
Harry gives Ledley warning.
Harry Redknapp has told Ledley King he must play twenty games for Spurs this season or he risks being released when his contract expires next summer. The Daily Mail reports that the club captain King is set to make another return from injury against Wolves this Saturday, but Redknapp has shown his ruthless side with injury prone players after releasing Jonathan Woodgate on a free, and there’s a possibility that the 30-year-old King could follow if his fitness does not improve.
