Scott Parker is relishing his return to the Premier League after signing for Spurs on transfer deadline day from West Ham. After spending four years at Upton Park and earning the captains armband it was difficult to leave but the allure of playing in the Premiership proved too much.
In an interview with Sky Sports Parker said: “I’m obviously delighted to be back in the Premier League, I’ve had four fantastic years at West Ham. I met many good people, many friends and the fans were fantastic to me there but I just felt it was time to move on. It was time for me to try and stay in the Premier League.”
Parker’s return to the Premier League is also an attempt to secure a regular place in the England side.
