Givemefootball are reporting that Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has sent scouts to Germany to keep tabs on Schalke’s towering striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar, in preparation for a bid in the January transfer window. Spurs have admitted interest in the Dutch international before, but with finances available to Redknapp following the sales of Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios amongst others, the manager may see January as the right time to move for the striker, who has refused to rule out a move away from the Bundesliga, amid reports of interest from Manchester United in the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur could move for 36-year-old former England captain David Beckham, when his LA Galaxy contract expires in November reports The Daily Mirror. The midfielder spent time training with the club last winter, and the Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is keen to add some depth on the wings, after the departure of David Bentley on a season long loan to West Ham United . Redknapp will have to fend off interest from fellow London club Queens Park Rangers however if he is to sign the former Real Madrid and Manchester United man.
Harry Redknapps chances of securing a move for Internacional striker Leandro Damaio have taken a knock as eatsleepsport are reporting that Champions League winners Barcelona have joined the race for his signature. Redknapp’s interest does seem to have cooled since he secured the season-long-loan of Manchester City forward Emmanuel Adebayor, and the interest from Barcelona makes a move for the 22-year-old to Tottenham look very unlikely. Internacional have slammed a £15 million price tag on the Brazil international.
