Tottenham plan permanant deal for Adebayor

Harry Redknapp has revealed that Tottenham would want to make Emmanuel Adebayor’s move to the club permanant at the end of the season, following an impressive start to his White Hart Lane career.

The Togo international joined Spurs on a season-long-loan from Manchester City, and has won all three Premier League games he has taken part in for Tottenham. And Redknapp, talking after the sides’ 2-1 away win against Wigan, revealed to the UKPA, that he would be keen on extending the agreement:

“If he keeps going like he’s going I’d love to keep him around. He’s been excellent so far. But the wages will be the problem because he’s not cheap.”
