Andre Villas-Boas believes that the outcome of his sides clash with Manchester United doesn’t need to be a positive one, BBC
The Chelsea boss says it is much too early in the season to draw on bad results as it isn’t likely to have a conclusive effect on the title race. Villas-Boas said: ‘Our importance in the game is minimal. It’s for the players to exploit their talents and enjoy their game. A Chelsea win at Old Trafford will see them leapfrog United by one point into first place if Manchester City fails to win.
