Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam is looking forward to being reunited with his former club Glasgow Rangers tonight, as Liverpool play Rangers in a friendly at Ibrox.
Adam made 86 appearances for the club before leaving for Blackpool in 2009, and the 25 year old is relishing the opportunity to go back to his former club. “I’m looking forward to it, I was surprised when the friendly was announced but it’s certainly one I’m looking forward to.“It’s not very often you get the opportunity to go back and play against your former club. I’ve got some great memories from my time at Rangers. I do keep a look out for their results but my main concern now is Liverpool. I want to do as well as I can for this club and try and win trophies and be successful,” he told the Daily Post.
