Dubai-based side Al Wasl have ruled out a bid for Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez, with club coach and Tevez’s former national team manager Diego Maradona declaring the striker too expensive, according to Goal.com.
He had been linked with a move to the Middle East, but Maradona recently told Sport 360: “Tevez is very expensive. He will cost a lot of money and right now we have the budget for around five percent of the fee he commands.”
Corinthians have also recently ended their interest in signing the 27-year-old, but Internazionale and Paris St Germain are still keen to secure his services in January.
